FAITH

What is Faith?

Faith is a belief, a hope, a knowledge, deep in the soul:
Almost primal, beyond description and explanation.

Faith is not a thing, solid, tangible.
Yet, faith is something we possess.
Individual, unique, personal.
My faith is mine alone.

I have faith in God’s love
And in your love for me.
I have faith that our love will endure
Through the trials and disappointments of life.

Faith is the lens through which
I chose to see the world.
Faith is my strength to fight the good fight,
Every day, rain or shine.

And when my soul is tired, bloodied and bruised,
I have faith that you’ll be by my side.
Your tender caress brushing away my sweat, my tears.
Your touch a healing, soothing balm.

My greatest wish is that you have faith in me as I do in you.
Faith that I will always be true to you and only you.
Faith that my body, heart, and soul are yours
And yours alone, now and forever.

Love me.
….Believe in me.
……..Have faith in me.
