Brian K. Saunders - Artist/Author/Composer
A native of Columbus, Ohio, Brian has been creating artwork, writing poetry and short stories, and composing music for many years. Frustrated by the limited availability of African-American greeting cards with romantic or erotic themes, Brian decided to apply his creative talents to filling that void.

"Many times, a greeting card can communicate your most intense thoughts and feelings," says Brian. "However, the trick is finding the right card. More often than not, I found myself buying blank cards and writing the message myself."

A skilled technologist and business strategist, Brian has successfully utilized technology for his artistic expression.

The Inspiration
Good art, in any form, evokes emotion. For most artists, the emotional content of their art reflects the people, events, or feelings in their lives. The muse and inspiration for Brian is his "Sweetie", Anna. "People tell me my poetry is very 'real', as if I were talking to them," says Brian. "That's because I wrote the poems for Anna to express my feelings toward her. She is my muse, my inspiration."
