"Morpheus B" is the persona of Ebony Love Art's founder/artist/poet in the world of music.

"Composer, producer, and DJ, Morpheus B taps into the universal groove collective to create music which is uniquely his. Incorporating elements from multiple genres (jazz, funk, electronica, R&B, HipHop, rock, reggae), Morpheus B creates an expansive musical soundscape with something for every body and every mood."

Why the name "Morpheus B"?
"Morpheus" stands for in "one who morphs": not bound by the limits of any one musical genre. Brian's musical training (piano) began at an early age, then expanded to the violin (classical), guitar (rock & R&B), and alto sax (jazz). As a result, the Morpheus B sound combines influences from multiple music genres and instrumentation styles: jazz, funk, electronica, R&B, HipHop, rock, reggae, and world/new age.

With 3 CDs released, Brian (a.k.a. Morpheus B) has been active in the online and independent music communities. Through the web, Brian has developed a global fan base for his music. Brian had Top 10 songs in multiple genres on the old MP3.com and his track, "La Guitara," won 2nd place MP3 Grammy on MP3.com (2001). More recently, his music is featured in the independent film, "Canyon Racers" (2007).

Additionally, since 1979, Brian has continued to refine his DJ skills. First, spinning records as a college radio station DJ, and then as a mobile and club DJ bringing musical enjoyment to weddings, parties and special events throughout the San Francisco Bay Area (Monterey to Sacramento).
